21. International Kawasaki Z1 rally in Norway 2012 – 22 to 24. June in the city of Lyngdal!

We are 10 Kawasaki enthusiasts from the south of Norway who is responsible for the rally this year. Our goal is to create an enjoyable Z1 weekend for all with the same good interest! The Norwegian rally is to be held in the city of Lyngdal from 22 until the 24 of June.

The Z1 bike turns 40 years in 2012 and we are hoping for good support for highlighting this!

The rally sight is "optimal" with large indoor stay opportunities in addition to a nice camping area. The rally will have hot food and cold drinks, we also looking at the possibility of live music one of the evenings ... Road description is along Highway 43, signposted from the E-39. (GPS: N 58/11.279 ', E 7/6.291 ").

For foreign visitors, which we hope will arrive in big numbers, it is good to know that there is only an hour's drive from the ferry dock in Kristiansand and about two hours drive from the ferry port in Stavanger to Lyngdal.

We will arrange a ride out from Lyngdal MC Club which is where the rally is to be held to Lindesnes (“South Cape”) on Saturday. It is a short trip, only 4 miles each way on nice roads along the cost! There will be exhibitions and prizes in different categories for Kawasaki Z. All two and four stroke classic Japanese bikes are welcome!

Superb rally

The rally was a success!!
With approximately 110 bikes attending the rallt this year, Z1CON would like to thank everybody who contributed to make this a rally for the history books. The Germans for sure made it worth while by bringing a total of 30 bikes!!! A little rain could not stop people from enjoying themselves, and with the longest line-up ever, there was enough to glance at.
Again; thank you, and we hope you had a wonderfull time here in Norway

The rally will be in Blaker a bit north of Oslo.

How to get there.


Z1 rally has rallyfood and drinks, but you can also buy dinner on Friday, BBQ Saturday evening. There are toilets at the rallysite, but only with coldwater. We do serve breakfast Saturady and Sunday.
There is shops and petrol/gas in the area, and there will be LIVE music.
On Saturday we do a ride out to Holmenkollen ski slope.

In fornt of the rally we've planned to arrange a roundtrip. We'll use three days in great nature and spectacular roads. 5-6 high moutain roads, and some fjords in western Norway

Already some of our german friends decided to join us, but there's always room for more.

20'th International Rally

We are proud to invite you all to the 20'th anniversary of Z1OCN Rally's!

Although the club was founded in 1990, we didn't have a rally that year. The first was held in 1991 and now we are ready for the 20'th.

We are gonna arrange some kind of trip prior to the rally as we did in 2007 when we went to North Cape, but not as long :) Where we are going depends on you! Before we decide where to go and for how long, we need to know how many of you are joining us, and where YOU would like to go.
